Just click on the Booking tab on the main menu. It will take you into our booking system where you can select the class you want.

A class costs €40 with a €1 administration fee (VAT is already included in the price).

The class is 2h long. The first 20 minutes of a class are Ground School which includes a thorough warm-up and learning your trick on a low bar. The rest of the class is spent on the rig taking turns practicing your trick.

Everyone from 8 years to 99 years!

However, there is a weight limit of 100 kg/16 stone.

Yes, you will be swinging over a big bouncy net while attached to safety lines that clip onto your safety belt. Flying trapeze classes are a physical activity that involve the same risks as any other sport, i.e. there’s a possibility of scrapes, bumps, sprained or strained muscles. Our staff is highly experienced and will take every precaution to maintain your safety and prevent any injuries, however, due to the specific nature of the flying trapeze there is an element of risk that cannot be removed. By participating in the activity, you acknowledge this risk and agree to abide by the school’s rules and follow our staff’s instruction at all times.

Yes. Anyone who participates in a class needs to fill in a waiver. Participants under the age of 18 will need to have a waiver filled and signed by their parent. If you arrive into the class without a correctly filled waiver you will not be able to participate in the class. If a child cannot participate in a class due to a missing or incompletely filled waiver, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Yes, you can. All private bookings are only via formal booking through info@flyingmonkeystrapeze.com.

Our classes run outdoors, so dress appropriately for the weather. All jewellery needs to be either removed or taped over with athletic tape. Nails need to be trimmed and long hair tied back. If your nails are too long you may not be able to attempt a catch even if your trick is otherwise ready.

Our ‘All levels’ classes are suitable for all levels whether it is your first time hanging from a trapeze bar or you have flown before, with us or abroad.

Our ‘Beginner’ 4-week courses are for students who have completed at least one catch in the current flying season, 2022.

Our ‘Improver’ 4-week courses are for students who have both completed one of our ‘Beginner’ 4 week courses either in 2021 or 2022 AND made a catch in at least 5 different tricks.

Our ‘Improver’ classes are for students who have both completed one of our ‘Improver’ 4 week courses AND made a catch in at least 5 different tricks.

The maximum number of spaces you can book in a class is 6.

You should arrive 10 min before the start time of your class. You will be let inside the enclosure 5 min before the start time.

Each class starts with a safety brief and a warm-up. They are both very important in order to avoid injuries. If you arrive more than 10 min late for your class, you may not be allowed to join the class. It is your responsibility to be on time. If you cannot participate in a class because you arrived late, you are not entitled to a refund.

You can cancel your class up to 7 days before your class and get a full refund. If you cancel after 7 days, you will not be able to get a refund.

You may change your booking to a different date and/or time up to 5 days before the scheduled class. In order to do so sign in into our customer area and reschedule your class yourself or alternatively you must send a message to info@flyingmonkeystrapeze.com quoting your full name and the booking number.

You may transfer your booking to another person at any time up to 24 hours before the scheduled class. If you wish to do so, you must send a message to info@flyingmonkeystrapeze.com quoting your full name, the booking number, the name of the person who will be coming to the class, and their email address.

Our classes take place outdoors and are therefore weather dependent. If the weather conditions become unsuitable for a class to go ahead the staff will cancel the class. In the same way, if the weather conditions change once the class is already in progression, the staff will stop the class if it becomes unsafe to continue.

If the weather is very windy but dry, we can choose to run the class without the catching round. This decision is always up to the staff on the day.

If a class is cancelled the staff will get in touch with you at least 30 min before the start time. If a class is cancelled you will get credit to book into another class. Refunds will only be given if we cannot offer a rescheduling of the class.

The weather in Ireland changes quickly, so please do not assume that a class is cancelled until you hear from our staff.

If the class is halted within the first hour of the class, you will get credit to book into another class. If the class is stopped after the midpoint of the class, you will get credit worth 50% of the price of the class that you can use towards booking into another class. Refunds will only be given if cannot offer a replacement for the class.

Yes, you can bring your friends and family to watch. Anyone who is not participating in a class will need to stay outside of the enclosure. But don’t worry, they will still get a great view!

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on site.

For children under the age of 14 at least one adult will need to stay on site. Please note that for anyone under the age of 18, a parent needs to come and sign a waiver.

If you leave your child/teenager in class, you will need to pick them up on time 😊

Unfortunately it’s not possible to use a rain voucher towards a gift voucher or a t-shirt purchase.
